Peter chose the right week to WIN our Tipping Competition. We had gone for 5 weeks without anyone tipping 8 winners so the prize kept jackpotting and lucky for Peter it included Medallion Club Tickets for 2 games from Round 8 and Round 12.

Peter was particularly lucky to Win in a week with a draw so that he actually only had to pick 7 winners and the draw was a correct tip for everyone. He was also lucky because sadly for two of our other tippers they also tipped eight winners but Peter was closest to the correct winning margin in the first game of the round so he won the lot!

Peter spent his vouchers on tickets in Oz Lotto for Tuesday night where the prize has jackpotted to $40Million.

Let's hope his luck continues and we can say that Peter won $40Million in the Sunbury Newsagency Tipping Competition!

Out of over 300 tippers there hasn't been anybody who has got eight tips correct for the last four weeks so the prize has just kept jackpotting. It is now worth over $600.

How did Ingo get 8 tips correct and be right up the top of the Leaders in our Footy Tipping?

It was supposed to be an easy week for Tipping this week and several of the favourites got beaten including the Cats.

Marita is very, very lucky because she was one of eighteen tippers who selected eight winners this week but the only tipper who selected eight winners PLUS West Coast to defeat Essendon by 23 points. Well done Marita!

Sorry to Nicole, Luke, Ebony, Norm, Helmut, Mary, Sharyn, Paul, Brandon, Pauline, Andrew, Bernard, John, Alan, Greg, Ellyse and Josh who were clever enough to tip eight winners in this round but didn't have the correct winning margin.

The prize is awarded to the competitor with all tips correct whose predicted tie-breaker is most accurate.
If no-one gets them all correct the prize jackpots to the next round.

The tie-breaker is the margin from a specified game.
In the event of a tie, the tipper whose predicted margin is closest to the actual margin is the weekly prize winner.

You will notice that Josh is the winner of the $20 voucher this week but as Josh is actually an employee at our store, it is our policy that we also give an equivalent prize to the next Tipper if an employee of our store is the winner of the round, the Medallion Club tickets or the whole competiton.

In the tie-breaker game Richmond v Carlton Josh predicted that Carlton would win by 69 points which was the closest to the actual margin. Four tippers correctly tipped 8 winners but Darryle was the next closest to the actual winning margin with a predicted winning margin of 38 points.

Paul has won $500 in our Footy Tipping Competition. Paul had 129 tips. Second Prize of $200 went to Kevin Carmichael who had 128 tips.

Third Prize was shared by four tippers, Paul O'Keefe, Bert Hildebrand, Debbie Burnside and Ken Hector, each receiving $38.

Last but one was Shane Martin who will receive $5.

The winner of the round was  Stephen Neville who won $80 plus 2 tickets to the Medallion Club. This prize was valued at over $300 and had jackpotted for four weeks.

Thank you for all the fantastic comments about our Tipping Competition, it has been lots of fun and given us lots of laughs in the store with everyone wnting to stir each other about their tips.
